The Observatory at the Graham Hotel in Georgetown was filled with excitement, hope and positive energy as the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation (CDRF) officially launched its Washington, DC Champions Committee. I was thrilled to serve on the host committee and be one of the main organizers of the evening. Over 100 people attended the event and many expressed their desire to be a Champion of CDRF’s mission of finding a cure for spinal cord injury, while focusing on improving the quality of life for those living with paralysis today.
