Taylor will be attending A Magical Evening 2006 in New York to assist the Christopher Reeve Foundation in fulfilling its goal of curing spinal cord injury by funding innovative research, and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis through grants, information and advocacy. In the past, Taylor has been highly involved with the organization and tonight marks his third attendance at the event.

The annual “A Magical Evening” gala, sponsored by the Christopher Reeve Foundation, raised over $2.5 million this year. Harvey Fierstein and Babe Neuwirth co-hosted the event, which was held Tuesday at the Marriott Marquis in New York City. The night featured a video tribute to Christopher and Dana Reeves, which was introduced by Barbara Walters. Highlights also included a Broadway tribute by an all-start cast including Donny Osmond, Christian Hoff, Dnaiel Reichert, Michael Longoria, Steve Gouvela, Lisa Brescia, Josh Strickland and many others.
